Now Kirito and Leafa knows each other’s identity in real life as step siblings. Remember Recon? Leafa’s friend who is also her classmate in real life? Thanks to Recon’s effort to cheer up Leafa, the story can continue with Leafa and Kirito solving their issues through a duel. And it ends with a hug. Seriously, Kirito?!
After that, this episode is about challenging the ALO World Tree quest once again. This time with (slightly) better plan. Even poor friendzoned Recon looks kinda cool here with his self-sacrifice magic. Just when they were on the brink of being wiped out again, Sakuya and Alicia come to aid, bringing their armies.
So, Kirito finally wins the quest and a door theoretically should open. But it’s not. It’s set that no player should be able to open the door. That quest is designed to be un-winnable. That Sugou bastard !
Thanks to an administrator security card dropped by Asuna in previous episode, plus a super cool Yui, Kirito manages to go through.
