This episode got me excited. First we have Ledo’s dilemma in making decision. He decides to save Gargantia rather than following order from Colonel Kugel. That pirate queen (I don’t even know her name) is planning a revolt. Pinion heard about it, and coordinate with Flange to free their people. So now we have Ledo, Pinion and the pirate queen working together towards a common goal: to stop Colonel Kugel and his crazy ideal.
The scene where they drop the old and sick people to the sea is sick, very sick. But I guess that scene helps Ledo in making his decision. Now it’s Ledo and Chamber vs Kugel and Stiker. Got some nice battle view. With Pinion’s help, Ledo manages to push Striker and forcibly open the control room. Colonel Kugel is no longer alive. By the look of it, I supposed he has been dead for quite a while. So all these mess are actually created by Striker?
Thanks to Melty, Ledo can warn Gargantia fleet so they are aware of the situation. Surprisingly, they might hold something important that might change the final outcome of the battle? We shall see how this plays out, next week.
