On the “mission” to kill all whalesquid in their nest, Ledo found a record from “ancient” human civilization before the great apocalypse. And Hideauze, enemy of humankind, turns out to be evolved human. While some humans believe the way to survive is to find a new habitable planet after leaving Earth, some scientists choose to evolve so humans can survive in the new water environment. And this “new evolution” is a genetic cross-bred between human and whalesquid: Hideauze. After learning the truth, Ledo starts to question all his own actions. Chamber, however, immediately concludes that the information is wrong or intentionally created by the enemy.
Now the story is getting dark. A bit classic though, that humankind’s biggest battle is always against itself.
