After eliminating the pirates in last episode, Gargantia people sees Ledo as dangerous entity. Bellows takes initiative to talk to Ledo. With Amy’s help, Bellows explain the basic human values on Earth to Ledo who previously had no idea of those values. This serves as a good culture bridge, I guess.
As expected, more powerful pirates come to seek revenge. This time, Gargantia commander agreed to ask Red’s assistance, provided Red will avoid human casualties as much as possible. In return, Red asks for formal permission to stay with Gargantia fleet for a while. And so Ledo successfully defeated the pirates at night battle. Gargantia people now sees him as a hero.
I like the story development so far. As language has became less of a problem, more communication between Red and people from Gargantia will make things more interesting.
