Tohara is still angry. She refuses to see Nike. Nike wants to at least say goodbye before she returns to Sun Kingdom with Livius, so she says her farewell and gratitude words in front of a door, while Tohara is listening right behind it.
The ship that carries Nike and Livius finally departs, and still no sign of Tohara. So they go assuming Tohara still chooses not so see Nike.
Then we get to see the greatest “conflict” in this series being solved with its unique way: Tohara sings a farewell rain song from top of a cliff. She gives her blessings and prayers to Nike in her own way. And that concludes the arc, as well as first half of this final episode.
Next we go back to Sun Kingdom where Livius immediately gets fully occupied with work. Well, considering he did take several days off to accompany Nike, I guess this is to be expected. Our “final arc” is about Nike feeling lonely for not being able to see Livius for a while. And they finally meet at the end of episode.
Overall, I like this anime. It’s light-hearted and the positive atmosphere is exactly what some people needs right now. There are several rough details in the story, but I find it quite enjoyable.
