This episode started in dark, when Nike finds unconscious Livius. After some CPR, Livius survives, and the episode is back to its lighthearted atmosphere.
So we get to see Nike’s mother. I like how she starts with telling Livius about Nike’s situation. She listens to Livius’ answer, then decides to give her blessings, at the form of… a traditional wedding clothes for Livius. Next our couple has some sort of traditional “wedding” celebration. I guess now we do see a little bit of romance between our couple. Well, they do have feelings towards each other for a while, but I wouldn’t describe it as “romance”.
I like how they put a nice “closure” to Kitora. And Kitora’s conversation with Livius about Nike’s behavior is just funny.
Tohara is still not happy in the end? I thought she cares about Nike. There is still one more episode and I suppose they will use it to show how it ends happily for Tohara, too.
