The first half of this episode is about party in Kyousuke’s new room. Basically we have all heroines here, including Kanako and non-glasses Saori. As usual, Kirino and Manami are on bad terms. Kuroneko soon find herself in a battle against Kanako about the right to give food to Kyousuke. And Manami joins the craziness, followed by (surprisingly) Saori. Kirino is angry because other heroines are “disturbing” Kyousuke. Then she asks Ayase to be the one “taking care” of him for a month. Interestingly, Kirino’s reason to ask Ayase is mainly because she’s the only one not showing interest to Kyousuke at that party. If only she knows what will happen later…
The second half is about Ayase taking care of Kyousuke. From cooking to cleaning the room. Damn it Kyousuke ! You have a very cute model taking care of you !
After the “honeymoon period”, Kyousuke takes his exam and actually gets grade A. So, as promised, he can move back to the house. At the last day, Ayase comes and confesses to Kyousuke. I really love her confession scene. It’s the best non-romantic confession scene I’ve seen in anime for years. Bear in mind I said “non-romantic” there. Because after Ayase confesses, Kyousuke firmly rejects her, then she cries and threaten to kill him (remember her favorite knife?)
After dropping my support to Kuroneko (for stupid move doing the break up), Ayase was my next heroine. And I do feel she deserve a lot more than half episode. Heck, even Kuroneko got two episodes dedicated for her arc.
In every harem anime, when the hero is indecisive, we curse him. Now we have a very decisive hero. Yet I still curse him. Poor Ayase.
