I strongly hate the way they “resolve” Kuroneko’s breakup from last week. What it supposed to mean? Kuroneko did it all for the sake of matchmaking Kyousuke and Kirino while she herself clearly likes Kyousuke? Sure Kuroneko and Kirino are good friends, but going that far and hurting Kyousuke (the man they both like) in the process? Just how messed up is that? And suddenly it resolves without even any DECENT conversation between Kuroneko and Kyousuke? A breakup problem is solved by two girls talking?
Having said that, this episode does bring up Kirino’s character to my eyes (finally). Now I can actually some quality in her, despite her usual identity as “high achiever”. One entire season plus 9 episodes (of season 2), and this is the first time I actually see some cuteness in Kirino.
I have survived so far restraining myself from reading the manga so I can enjoy every episode of this anime with its surprise factor. I would say Kyousuke and Kirino are now as close as siblings can be. Now it’s up to the creators whether they will bring the two as very close and loving siblings, or the typical non blood-related siblings become lovers.
