The legendary players known as “blank” in various online games turn out to be 2 persons. Sora and Shiro, brother and sister. Both are shut-ins and game addicts. They feel like they were born in the wrong world. Until one day a miracle happens and they arrives at a totally different world where everything is solved by playing games. This setting is annoyingly very similar to another anime I love: Mondaiji-tachi ga Isekai kara Kuru Sou Desu yo. Hopefully they will develop the story in a different way.
Upon arrival in the new world, they meet a boy, in the sky, claiming to be a God of that new world. After gaining information from some unfortunate random people, our main characters started their journey to fit in and to survive in the new world.
What makes this anime is a little different from most others is the close relationship between Sora and Shiro. They care deeply about each other. They truly trust each other. But somehow I don’t sense any typical bro-con or sis-con scenario here.
In a world where everything is solved through games, our main protagonists are like superhumans here. As I would expect, they easily secure some survival money by winning games. And I like stories where the main protagonists are overwhelmingly strong. Right from episode 1, it seems that there will be some sort of political scenario later in the story, considering that a kingdom will decide their next king based on playing games.
