Nanase Takeshi, our hero, is a high-school boy with a hint of dark past. One fateful day he met a girl named Aiba Mui who is also a magicians. Accidentally, Mui’s shot using magical gun turns Takeshi into a magician too, and all of a sudden got involved in a world he never knew.
In this anime’s setting, magicians are real and they live in a separate world. Some of them tries to coexist with normal humans. When someone grows up, his apertures close and he lose the ability to become a magicians. However if he came in contact with magic as a child, it stimulates his cells and allow him to manifest magic outside his body.
So 4 other magicians are trying to capture Mui. Since Mui is our heroine, I would assume the other 4 are the bad guys. One of them is supposed to be Tsuganashi, Mui’s older brother, but having his memory rewritten by an evil community named Ghost Trailers.
By end of first episode, 3 normal humans become magicians: Nanase Takeshi (our main hero) gains evasive magic, Isoshima Kurumi (Takeshi’s girlfriend) gains transformation magic and Ida Kazumi (Takeshi’s friend) gains destruction magic. Mui herself seems to have lightning-based magic.
This anime has a lot of potential. I hope the execution will be something worth my expectations.
