On the return journey to Akihabara, our heroes discover that food CAN taste good in the virtual world. Food that are prepared using game menu will look very good but tasteless. But food that are prepared by “conventional ways”, from getting the ingredients and the cooking process, will taste like normal food. The catch is, not everyone can do the cooking. One must have reasonably high cooking skill level to be able to “cook” without burning the ingredients.
Well, that food trick is a good news. MAJOR good news for people trapped inside a game with no particular goal. Judging from how we know more stuff every week, they might end up finding the goal to escape this game.
Next revelation is about NPC. Normally NPC in a game can only say few pre-defined lines. But NPC in this virtual world can talk a lot, and they act like they actually have a background story like normal humans recalling their memories.
The later part of this episode is setting up the next arc about twin young players being abused by “evil” guild. Supposedly Shiroe and his team will come to rescue them next week.
