So a lull is a time when all youmu goes weak. Spirit hunters are usually goes on hunt rampage on this day, because taking down strong youmu becomes possible. Akihito is half-youmu, making him affected to this phenomena. There’s a possibility that he will lose his immortality during lull, making him “killable”.
This disturbance in power balance brings many people has their own plans. For some reason, Akihito seems to fall asleep a lot. Izumi (Mitsuki’s older sister) is somehow involved in putting him unconscious. Then somehow Akihito is brought to Ayaka’s shop.
That mysterious man from Spirit Hunter Association is starting his move. From initiating conversation to Mitsuki (hoping to learn something from her) to forcefully asking Ayaka to give him Akihito’s unconscious body. Ayaka’s real form is a white fox with multiple tails. She appears to be a reasonably strong dreamshade. Izumi iterrupts the fight, still for unknown reason.
Meanwhile, Akihito is opening his eyes… and it’s the youmu side of him that takes control.
