Someone from Ente Isle is trying to get rid of both Maou and Yuusha. Chiho (Maou’s friend from part-time work) is receiving communication from Ente Isle, which apparently talking about the recent earthquakes, and warns about an upcoming big one.
Feeling confused, Chiho decides to contact Maou to talk about her communication. And their “talk” becomes a date. Emilia found Alsiel watching Maou’s date from a distance, and decides to enter approach Maou directly. The catfight between Chiho and Emilia is surely interesting, lol.
A huge earthquake happens, destroyed the building they’re in. Emilia puts Chiho to sleep, and Maou appears back in his demon form. He gets his power back. Just when Emilia almost summons her holy sword to kill Maou, apparently the demon-appearance Maou is still having a good heart, trying to save the earthquake victims using his power.
As much as this episode introduces us to some interesting developments, I was left with even more question marks in my head. Who is contacting Chiho? Why is she the one receiving that communication? Who creates the earthquake? For what purpose? There are many mysteries to be answered in the following episode.
