A new season. I kinda hate the first few minutes of this first episode. It seemed to me that they pushed the yuri scene too hard it becomes annoyingly unnatural. I mean, we have 2 main heroines here, there bound to be more interaction between them. Surely there could be tons of better ways to show how they get closer to each other.
Next we have Rin and Luvia “kidnap” Illya and Miyu, then we go back to the main storyline. So the mana flow that got interrupted by the cards did not naturally restore even though all cards had been retrieved in season 1. So our heroines are told to take care of it by performing some sort of magic ritual. Of course, the ritual didn’t go as planned. For some unknown reason, the ritual went out of control, Illya and Miyu have to save Rin and Luvia.
Once again, Illya showed everyone something extraordinary by transforming into Archer. Only, this time, Illya didn’t just simply transforming. The Archer version of Illya becomes a separate person. Then we have a new character for the rest of this season.
