This episode started by our heroines got beaten up by Caster, the next opponent. To carry out the next strategy, both our junior magical girls (Illya and Miyu) need to learn to fly. Illya flies immediately without any problem. She couldn’t even explain how she could do that other than asking “don’t all magical girls fly?”
Unlike Illya, Miyu can’t fly. Her human logic that people can’t fly becomes her obstacle. And Luvia has special “training” to help Miyu fly, by pushing her out of a flying helicopter. Did it work? Hell no *laugh*.
This is the most convenient magical girls scenario I’ve ever watched. They can retreat, then have an entire day to practice, think of new strategy, before coming back the next midnight. People don’t usually get this “luxurious” break during battles, lol. There’s even no risk that the opponent will attack them during daytime. Being able to decide when to fight and when to have a rest, that’s super convenient !
Not to mention, those “dangerous cards” are not actually creating chaos in real world. They don’t kill people, not even disturbing anyone (or at least not yet). I can’t help but feeling sorry for one card got gangbanged by 2 mages plus 2 magical girls.
Next midnight, they are prepared for a revenge. Miyu finally find her “logical” way to fly, by creating some kind of magical surface in the air so she can “step on it”. Since Miyu can create those magical surface anytime and anywhere, she can “float” in the air and can climb an invisible stairs in the air, somewhat similar to “flying”, I guess.
As usual, the battle started bad, the initial strategy fails because Caster can teleport. Then, for the first time, Illya and Miyu can work together as a team and defeats Caster. Does it end? Nope. We still have one more surprise: Saber appears right after Caster is defeated. Dark Saber ! I’m super excited !
