Fault duo. These two make a good pair.
Mashina defeated Retro in Class B semifinal. His opponent in finale is Rion, Mashima’s last obstacle to finally reach Class A. In a different room, Class A final match will be Arata against Shinobu. And so Chihaya must choose which game she will watch. Nishida choose to watch Arata vs Shinobu. Chihaya choose to cheer for Mashima. After some faulty drama, Mashima wins, and advances to Class A.
If they will ever make season 3 (which I strongly hope so), I would be very interested to see how Rion will progress within a year. With all the seniors graduating, she will be the ace and hope of Fujisaki.
Now let’s get to the other room. Naturally, Shinobu’s match attracts a lot of observers, especially since the opponent is the grandson of a legendary Karuta master (Arata). And indeed Arata shows very respectable skill. Finally a worthy opponent for Shinobu. I’m looking forward to see how their match concludes next week.
