With only 3 remaining players, Mizusawa players keep trying their best. Chihaya opens a little hope when she defeats Rion. Taichi and Nishida sync their game, just like what Hokue team did to Mizusawa back in regional’s finale. Now both of them has one same card on their side, and one same card on opponent’s side. With the grand decision lies in luck, for this one time, they have the luck. 3-2 for Mizusawa, the new champion of group tournament !
I get a feeling that this Rion girl will play important part in Chihayafuru season 3 (if they will ever make one).
How about Chihaya’s injured finger? Yes, it becomes a major problem now. She went to hospital after the ceremony, and doctor suggests her not to do anything intense. It means, she can’t participate in individual tournament. But will Chihaya gives up that easily? No. With the help of some new t-shirts from Nishida’s sister, she decides to keep playing in individual tournament. With injured right-hand finger, her plan is to use left hand.
I’m still rooting for Chihaya vs Shinobu this season.
