A story of the future, 4000 years after humans left Earth and start living in other places in the universe. Joachim Mizrahi, a genius researcher, accidentally opened a gate which lead humanity to a new threat : Gnosis, an alien life form which has no physical body, making it difficult for them to be defeated.
KOS-MOS, an ultimate weapon created by human to fight Gnosis, is a female robot with unimaginable capabilities. However, the last time she was activated, she went berserk and killed everyone nearby, including Uzuki Shion’s lover. Uzuki Shion is now KOS-MOS’ chief of development. When their spaceship is invaded by a large number of Gnosis, KOS-MOS is mysteriously activated, and she saves Shion from a Gnosis at the last second. All in a sudden, Shion and her companions are dragged into unavoidable battles where no clear sides can be seen. Politics and greed of power, as usual, are the most possible reason behind any war. Shimmering, so bright This is the kind of anime with tight storyline. Each episode contributes a great deal of progress to the story. The picture quality is average; the story is awesome; the music is amazingly different. Recommended for age 13+ My rating : ★★★☆☆ Seiyuu
