A slice-of-life comedy story about a family restaurant named Wagnaria in Hokkaido and people working in that restaurant. We have Takanashi Souta, a high school student who like everything small; Taneshima Popura, a year older than Souta but look like an elementary schooler; Inami Mahiru, a high school girl who is afraid of men (and will punch every male nearby); Todoroki Yachiyo, a girl who bring a sword everywhere she goes; and Shirafuji Kyouko, the store manager who does nothing but eating.
In the kitchen, we have two chefs. Satou Jun who likes Yachiyo but never had the chance to confess; and Souma Hiroomi, the mysterious guy who knows everything about everyone. While Jun likes Yachiyo, she likes Kyouko (yeah, yuri rules !). While Souta likes Popura (for being small), turns out that Mahiru, the guy hater, eventually likes Souta. Finally, we get a new girl who run away from home, said that her name is Yamada (no one knows her real name) and ended up working at the restaurant, too. Well, I guess you got the picture ^_^ This is another anime of light story yet always enjoyable to watch. Fresh and funny, we can never have enough of it. Recommended for all ages.
