Hirasawa Yui is a clumsy first-year high-school girl who plan to enjoy her school time with joining a club. There is only one little problem, she has no idea which club she will join.
Tainaka Ritsu and Akiyama Mio are trying their best to save the Light Music Club (K-ON) from being disbanded. They need at least 4 members to survive, and they already recruited Kotobuki Tsumugi as guitarist. So, all they need is one more member. By chance, Yui joined the K-ON because she thought she can play castanets, the only instrument she can play. Learning that K-ON actually expects a guitarist, Yui wants to cancel her registration. She came to the club room to apologize, but … of course the other three are not letting her go that easily. The only chance for them to survive as a club is to keep this fourth member. So, now the club survives. Are they practicing hard? Interestingly, no. Instead of being famous as a group band, they are famous for being a club that always have tea and eat cakes after school. K-ON is an EPIC story about an all-girl group band. The story is light and fresh. I have watched every episode over and over again, and still find them entertaining. Love it ! Recommended for all ages. My rating : ★★★★★ Seiyuu
