Ika Musume (or literally translated as Squid Girl) is a creature from the depths of the sea. Feeling angry that humans pollute the sea, her home, she decided to come our and invade the surface world.
The first house she encountered is a small beach restaurant run by Aizawa siblings (Chizuru, Eiko and Takeru). Instead of starting her invasion, she destroyed the restaurant’s wall and forced to work there to pay for damage repair cost. As time flows, Ika Musume ends up staying with Aikawa siblings. Her invasion plan does not work as expected, but she finds a new family instead. Each episode consists of three short stories. So far we have season 1 in 2010 and season 2 in 2011. Simple story and lovable characters. Very funny and entertaining. Recommended for all ages. My rating : ★★★☆☆ Seiyuu
