From biological weapon named Ua virus, a young girl received the ability of synesthesia. The five senses are no longer separated for her. She can smell touches, can see voices, can hear colours, all her perceptions are combined resulting in an amazing ability to be able to locate enemies just by seeing their colours.
Canaan is the girl’s name. A name given by Sham. A soldier trainer who once trained two girls with two different personalities and give them both the same name : Canaan. Our other heroine is Maria Oosawa – daughter of a large pharmaceutical company in Japan. She was also involved in the deadly Ua virus incident, and somehow survives to live with amnesia. She can not remember anything from her time before the incident. With Maria Oosawa working as photographer and Canaan working as mercenary, this anime started with a blast. A cool action scenes and beautiful background from Hong Kong setting. The first episode will mostly make people waiting for the next ones. A storyline with excellent way of telling. Love the Canaan character and how she evolves from being a kickass trained soldier to a likeable character with girly side. Recommended for age 13+ (violence scenes). My rating : ★★★★☆ Seiyuu
