Mekakucity Actors
Our main hero is a hikikomori (a shut-in and anti-social) boy who never left his room for 2 years. Somehow these kinds of anime never actually explain how they hell they earn money to live. The main heroine is an AI program. She’s a cheerful AI, she talks a lot and she does whatever she likes. One day the boy must go out of his room to buy a new keyboard, then he got into a terrorist attack in a department store.

selector infected WIXOSS
An anime about card-based battle game. The main heroine has a card that can talk. Apparently she’s not the only one. There are others with talking card too, and these people battle each other for one prize: the strongest player will get their wish come true. A bit similar to Fantasista Doll in a sense, but I like WIXOSS version because the setting and characters are more “believable” for me. As a player of Magic The Gathering, I approve this anime !

Atelier Escha & Logy – Alchemists of the Dusk Sky
A world with alchemists and hot air balloons as mainstream transport. Escha, our main heroine is a new alchemist just started her work at R&D department. A new recruit is coming from Central, a man named Logy. Their first task is to fix the windmill in Escha’s place. Seems like typical light-hearted story with game-like world setting. Plus I like that automaton character named Clone, nice voice acting from Yamamura Hibiku.

Hitsugi no Chaika
Our main heroine is a wizard dressed in all-white and she brings a coffin everywhere. Her speaking style is rather unique, and I don’t find it annoying so far. Inside the coffin, she stores gun-like equipments that seem to be useful for her magic. The other two protagonists are brother and sister. Both having a special ability to “transform” into fearless monster. A very interesting first episode. Looking forward to watch more.

Ryuugajou Nanana no Maizoukin
A man-made island created for students. Sounds like Academic City in To Aru series and the floating city in Strike the Blood. However, the main story is significantly different. This time we have a ghost of a girl. Not an ordinary girl but the head of 7 students who created the island. She was stabbed from the back and didn’t see her killer. Since then she’s trapped in the room she was killed. Our hero starts his adventure by renting that room.
