Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei: Yoku Wakaru Mahouka

I never liked stories about discrimination. And this story is no exception. Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei tells a futuristic story when magic becomes part of science. Our heroes are siblings, both entering the most prestigious magic school. However, right from the very beginning, the students are categorized as Blooms and Weeds. As you would expect, the Blooms act they are high and mighty, considering themselves elite. The Weeds have to accept the fact that though they have entered the most prestigious magic school, inside the school they have been labeled as losers right from the start.

Soredemo Sekai wa Utsukushii

A strong-and-independent princess from faraway country is going to Sun Kingdom to marry the king. She arrives two days earlier and decides to enter the city in alone to see the actual condition of the city. I like her character. Cheerful, positive and strong. Plus that magic she can use and the king turns out to be good-looking, I think it’s going to be an interesting story.
Watching: yes. Blogging: strong candidate.

Captain Earth

A sci-fi mecha anime. The main protagonist is the son of a deceased astronaut. There is a strong hint of alien factor in the first episode. The animation is decent and enjoyable, but the protagonist character is too strange and not believable. From knowing nothing, he suddenly does a lot of things beyond logical comprehension. Personally, I find it hard to watch a series when I fail to like the main character.
Watching: most probably no, but I will give it one more episode. Blogging: no.

Gochuumon wa Usagi Desu ka

One phrase to describe this anime is: cuteness overwhelming. Right from the start of this anime, moe is already the main theme. The setting is a coffee shop named Rabbit House. We have Cocoa, Chino and Rize. Cocoa is the newcomer girl. Chino is the granddaughter of the cafe owner. Rize is the part-timer at the cafe. From the OP, it seems that there will be 2 more main characters we haven’t seen. So yes, the story is about 5 moe girls doing cute stuff. As a bonus, that fluffy white thing on top of Chino’s head turns out to be Chino’s grandfather.

Mangaka-san to Assistan-san to

A story about a male mangaka drawing ero-manga and his assistant (female) and his editor (also female). Just from this setting, I guess you can imagine what will happen next. Overall, it’s still an enjoyable watch. A light story with some ecchi jokes.
