First impression reviews in this post: Bokura wa Minna Kawaisou, Gokukoku no Brynhildr, Kanojou ga Flag wo Oraretara, Ishuukan Friends, Blade & Soul
Bokura wa Minna Kawaisou
Our typical story of boarding house. Our heroine loves to read, and seems to be good with bamboo sword. One day, our hero moves in to a boarding house, only to find out that the girl he secretly likes live in the same house. Nice house with interesting characters. Seems promising.

Gokukoku no Brynhildr
Our hero’s childhood friend died. Then there’s a new girl who looks exactly like her. This new girl knows the future, and has superhuman power. The only thing I don’t like about this anime is the name of the childhood friend: Kuroneko. For me, there is only one Kuroneko, the one from OreImo.

Kanojou ga Flag wo Oraretara
In typical Japanese visual novel games, we usually know the term of “flags”. When a player choose the right options that makes a heroine likes him more, he “triggers a flag” of that heroine. When a character is about to die, usually he will say or do certain things, and we refer it as “death flag”. This anime is making fun of those flags, by introducing a protagonist who can literally see other people’s flag on top of their heads. The char design is cute. Can’t wait to watch the next episode.

Ishuukan Friends
Our heroine is a quiet girl who choose not to have any friend. Our hero is interested to become her friend. Later he discovers that she has her memory reset every Monday. Not every memory, only memory about people she considers as “friends” or want to spend more time with. Strangely, she doesn’t lose memory about her family members. So our hero decides to keep approaching her, knowing she won’t remember anything about him the next Monday.

Blade & Soul
Our main character is a female warrior. A highly skilled one. The story starts when she is hired to protect a village’s leader during a negotiation. She did protect the village leader, but soon an army comes and destroy the entire village to capture her. The story is rather dark, but it’s well animated and looks promising.
