Unbreakable Machine Doll
Interesting setting. Our main hero is Raishin, a puppeter, in the world of mechanical magic. He has a “living” puppet named Yaya. Apparently this so-called puppet is actually battle tool, and Yaya is a doll with top quality battle skills. The story starts with these two stopping a out-of-control train from crashing. Then they continue their journey to… of course a magic school ! The school is built for military purposes, to select the strongest mechanical magic user. And Raishin is somehow ranked two from the bottom in his entrance test.

BlazBlue Alter Memory
It’s a story with magic and strange creatures, supposedly a good setting I usually like. However, I couldn’t get myself to get some clue of what’s really happening from watching the entire first episode. Everything seems too random for me. We have a hero with an arm having dark aura. We have a creature with black face. We have people with inhuman strength. We have God-like beings. Yet none of the interactions between these characters seem to make sense for me.
Watching: probably no.

Phi Brain – Kami no Puzzle S3
I can’t believe this anime could even make it to third season, and the last two seasons were 25 episodes each !
Anyway, not that I’m saying this is a bad anime. Phi Brain is a unique anime, even I find myself enjoying it. But some other anime with better story didn’t even get a decent 25/26 episodes, let alone three seasons out of it.

Hajime no Ippo – Rising
Another sequel anime. The topic is about boxing. Immediately dropped.

Meganebu
A school club, and all the members are wearing glasses. They have one dream: to create glasses that will enable them to see through clothes. To see naked women, of course. But since their school is all-boys school, the only chance they get to see a woman is when someone from outside the school visits. So they’re trying to finish their “project” before the day of vision test, assuming the doctor that will come is female.
Watching: only when I have extra time.
