My prediction was right. The Japanese government does not stay still after Shinichi made a bold move last week suggesting Eldant to produce their own anime/manga/novel materials. Apparently they don’t choose open war, they simply decide to “erase” Shinichi.

Their first attempt to kill Shinichi fails, thanks to Petralka’s help and her personal maids. Those maids are cool. Their combat power is even better than average soldiers, I guess. As expected from a Supreme Ruler’s bodyguards.

After the first failed attempt, Petralka lend her personal maids to protect Shinichi. Nothing happened for quite a while, until Petralka orders them to return. Then the second attempt use a rare edition of a anime magazine to lure Shinichi. As much as I like this anime, his action this time is REALLY stupid beyond my comprehension. Risking his own life for the sake of a magazine? I almost wish that Miusel should not even come to save him.

Shinichi requests to speak with Matoba’s boss. And so he is given the chance. Matoba’s boss is typical politician who thinks they are above everything else. I assume he’s probably Prime Minister or someone with high rank in the military. Shinichi’s strategy is simply to provoke him to speak his true intention, and Petralka takes over from that. Brilliant strategy. I guess Petralka is more than just a loli tsundere, she does have real qualities as a leader.

So Shinichi is back to work to spread otaku culture, and Japanese government agrees to keep sponsoring his mission. It is still financially beneficial to them anyway. Shinichi gets to stay alive and keeps doing the job that he likes.

Not a bad ending, though I did expect something more spectacular.
