For two entire seasons, I always wondered how this amazing series will conclude, what kind of epic confession scene is prepared for Kirino. And the time to watch it finally comes.
It started with Kyousuke remembering Ayase’s final farewell after he rejected her confession. Then strangely the scene continues with lovey-dovey scene of Kyousuke and Kuroneko. I was like… “what? they go back together? I thought he decided to choose Kirino?!”
It wasn’t for long. At night, still the same day, Kyousuke finally gathers his courage to settle things once and for all to Kuroneko. He clearly tell Kuroneko that he can’t go out with her (ever). It was a touching scene, with tears, mixed with Kuroneko’s usual chuunibyou delusion. She changed from Kuroneko into Yamineko by the way (kuro=black, yami=darkness, neko=cat).
After comes clean with Kuroneko (and not leaving her lingering hope), Kyousuke is set to create his own confession date to Kirino. As usual, they make it happen near Christmas. I never understand Japanese people’s obsession about confession on Christmas eve, but that’s what happens here. Kyousuka manages to take Kirino to a date, using “Christmas-themed limited edition super erotic Seiya-tan figure” as bait (Kirino bites this bait, of course), Kyousuke takes Kirino to Akihabara for their Christmas date.
On the evening, Kyousuke tries to tell Kirino and his feelings… and Kirino runs before he can even finish. Saori and her sister (plus Yamineko) is around there, in a car, stalking the sibling’s date. Thanks to them, Kyousuke manages to catch Kirino. And the weird confession scene begins.
As I mentioned earlier, I was always wondering, what kind of epic confession scene will these two has… and when I finally watch it, I was like… WTF did I just watch?!
The confession is not romantic. But I guess you can say it’s epic in its own way.
So Kyousuke confesses his love to Kirino. Then the back door of Saori’s car opens, with huge speakers, and Kyousuke’s rejection scene to Yamineko is played out loud for everyone to hear. Kyousuke continues his confession, with a bit of regret of not having groped Kuroneko or Ayase’s boobs yet. Then Kirino keeps on saying “gross” and “hate”. But when Kyousuke suddenly ends his confession with a proposal “will you marry me?”… Kirino’s answer becomes “yes”.
Aaaaah ! I don’t understand women !
Or is it just Kirino?
