Finally ! Railgun-Kuroko vs Meltdowner-Frenda.
Be scared, Mikoto ! Be very scared !
Wow, that’s just so much fun in this episode. A perfect cooling down episode after few weeks of tense with Sisters arc. First we have Mikoto is requesting permission from her dorm manager to have study session with Kuroko, Saten, Uiharu and Haruue. Next we get to see what really happened when Mikoto baked her home-made cookies in Saten’s place last week. And I love how Saten concluded that the cookies are definitely for a guy, from Mikoto’s reaction. Got a big laugh watching this one.
Kuroko meets the little boy she helped with finding four-leaves clover. This time he’s looking for more together with his friends. Just a simple scene, but a proper closure that previous side-story.
Uiharu is having problem with her homework to submit a book report. Plus a little story about her computer skill. She helps a school newspaper’s club to defend their server from hacker. And apparently Uiharu is famous for her computer skill and has a nickname of “star goalkeeper”.
Kuroko meets Kongou on her way to buy something for the food party before the study group. Instead of taking Kuroko to a store which sell human food, Kongou takes Kuroko to a pet shop and buy snakes for her snake pet.
Mikoto is visiting hospital to check the condition of her “sisters”. The frog-faced doctor told her about the condition of the clones and how they only have 1 or 2 years remaining to live, due to the process of their “creation”. But I’m glad when the doctor told Mikoto that there’s hope to help them to recover more life-span.
Then Mikoto is heading to a family restaurant where she’s supposed to meet Kuroko. But guess who’s also there? It’s Frenda and Mugino ! Well, I always wished to see a scene of Mikoto and Kuroko vs Mugino and Frenda, but this is not what I really expected, lol. That “fight” between Kuroko vs Frenda is really epic in so many levels !
Finally, it’s time for the food party at Saten’s place… and they’re having nabe. Mikoto brings premium quality beef (lol for that shining box content). Uiharu brings vegetables. Kuroko brings soft-shelled turtle (does it even legal to eat turtle?) and fresh turtle blood mixed with apple juice special for her onee-sama (libido increasing potion). Haruue is a bit late and brings udon.
So our heroes have a good time eating nabe. I laughed hard again when Saten teases Mikoto with “cookies” as her keyword. Supposedly the group studies together after that. Though I’m not quite sure if they actually do some study since there’s not a single scene about that. This episode is closed by Mikoto and Kuroko walking home together.
A truly fun episode. It brings a lot of closure feeling and satisfaction. I guess we all deserve this before entering a new arc. I had quite a problem in choosing screenshots for this post since there are so many interesting scenes. Anyway. I hope you enjoy this episode of Railgun as much as I do.
