Meet our new stony cat.
A happy “family”?
That’s some logic there, lol.
So we have Yuuto’s house disappeared, then the entire content of the house appears in Tsutsukakushi’s warehouse. Next we have huge rain, flood, followed by end of the world. Wow, that escalated quickly.
Now that the stony cat on top of that hill no longer grant wishes, we are introduced to something new: an even bigger stony cat, inside Tsutsukakushi’s warehouse. This cat can grant any wish, not limited to just giving something we don’t want to other who needs it. When I say “any” wish, I do mean anything. Started by Tsukiko’s wish to actually become Yuuto’s little sister, the cat statue grants that wish in the most extreme way: removing Yuuto’s house, forcing him to stay with Tsutsukakushi, then create never ending rain (and storm), not “allowing” him to go out.
It’s almost amazing how Tsukushi still believe the story of two Yokodera brothers. And now she makes her move on “the younger brother”. I was wrong when I thought this anime concluded Yuuto’s facade arc too quickly. Apparently they still have more to show us.
