As predicted from last week, the final battle is against that powered-up crow. To make things more dramatic, lots of soldiers must die for nothing. I mean, they know from all the previous Alone, none of them can hurt an Alone, only flying girls can. And now they are so readily attempting the same approach, the same weapon, for stronger enemy? C’mon !
All in all, the four heroes managed to safe Rei who is inside the crow’s body by doing three consecutive docking. Then Akane saves Rei, and they perform docking as well. When Akane perform docking with the other three, the result color is never Akane’s color: red. It’s always the other party’s color. But with Rei, their docking result is red. Supposedly the ultimate form, considering the title of this anime is vividred, not vividblue or vividgreen or vividyellow.
So, the crow is defeated. And the creator of the Alones appear as Alone with infinity shape, saying they have repaired Rei’s world, and she can return to her world. So it’s goodbye. Though the final scene shows that Rei manages to visit Akane’s world once again.
And that’s the end of this anime.
