A rather political episode. After the drama confronting Central Nation from last episode, Winter Kingdom takes it further by releasing the serfs, lowering tax, and building a new church separated from Central Nation. As anyone would expect, this eventually turns into war declaration.
In separate action, the Merchant takes his own steps and plans to gain profit, resulting in price increase everywhere. Not really sure yet about his true objective, but this certainly remind me of how weak our “economy” system is. Very easily manipulable by some powerful “players” in the system. And I believe it is still the case until today.
Still lack of Maou. We only get to see a short flashback when she decided to become Maou. Really wonder what’s happening now in that secret chamber.
