A calm-before-the-storm episode. We get to see how Chihaya recovers from last week’s lost. We get to see how Chihaya’s parents are trying to support her (through buying a very expensive kimono they can’t really afford, lol). We get to see how Chihaya’s persistence even affect her big sister. We get to see how the club’s new members try hard to improve their skills at Harada-sensei’s karuta society.
It is also interesting to see how Karuta club decides to let Band club use a room above them, knowing that they will probably hear some sound during their practice later. Chihaya’s intention might be always back to karuta, but it is still a good karma indeed.
