After knowing Sinon as the game character in GGO, this time we get to know Shino Asada, the player behind our new heroine. Shino is a girl with past trauma. Back in her childhood, she was in a post office when a robbery occurred. She saved her mom when a robber was trying to shoot. She bit the man’s hand, grabbed his gun, and shot him! She shot him 3 times to his death. But all she saw from her mom’s eyes was fear. Instead of worrying about her daughter’s safety, this mom seemed to choose to fear her own daughter. I really don’t get this kind of parent sometimes. The psychological impact is far greater to a child. But some adults are just big in physical body.
Everytime Shino sees a gun, or anything else that resembles a gun, she got mental panic from her past trauma. And this weakness got her to be bullied by some bitches. Man, what an ugly truth of our society we see here.
Kazuto is ready to join GGO and he finally told Asuna about it. I feel that he should tell her the complete story. This episode didn’t really explain about how much he let Asuna know, but he better told her everything. By end of episode, it seems that the next target of Death Gun is Shino.
