Our new character this episode is Stephanie Dora, granddaughter of the previous king. She lost the game to become the next queen and goes to the siblings to complain why they didn’t tell her how her opponent (named Kurami) cheated.
Sora challenges Stephanie to a rock-paper-scissor game. Stephanie loses and Sora’s “order” is for Stephanie to fall in love with him. It is funny to see how the “law” of this world works. Stephanie still has her normal personality, but every-time she sees Sora, he looks like a prince charming to her, and she can’t refuse his requests even it’s against her own will. Practically she becomes the sibling’s “underling”.
We learn something interesting this episode. Sora and Shiro are unbeatable in games, they fully trust each other and help each other. However, once they are separated, they return to their old self: so sort of bullied nerds. I guess their bond runs deeper than what I originally see. They support each other to survive. While this is their main strength, it is also their major weakness.
So with the granddaughter of the previous king agrees to whatever Sora asks, now Sora and Shiro have secured their place to stay. They soon learn the written language of the new world and Stephanie explains to them about different races living in that world. Humans are the lowest rank due to having no ability to use magic.
The winner of the game to become king is the girl who beat Stephanie earlier: Kurami. She’s about to be crowned as queen. And Sora decides to become a king. I assume there will be a game against Kurami next week.
