Yukine turns into a good boy now, working part-time at Kofuku’s place trying to pay back the money he stole. Kofuku tells Hiyori that her charge of helping Yato, twice, is 1 million yen. Though they still argue all the time, Yato and Yukine become a lot friendlier.
Now that Yukine arc has ended, time for the next story. Nora clearly plays important part in our next arc, with her mysterious friend another Kami named Rabou. For some reason, their target is Hiyori. While Rabou is keeping Yato busy fighting a lot of crab-shaped ayakashis, Nora lures Hiyori and tries to eliminate her.
At the end of this episode, we see Hiyori is safe and sound, enjoying festival with her friends. But when Yato and Yukine approach her, she completely forget everything about them. Hiyori has turned back into a normal high-school girl.
So perhaps what Nora did was not actually “murdering” Hiyori in literal sense, but severing her connection to Yato? If that’s what she did, then somehow maybe she’s not that evil after all. But I guess it’s too early to speculate. Let’s wait for next week to understand more about this arc.
