A classic anime ! One of the very first anime series that I watched, and played a big role in making me an anime fan. This title is long forgotten until I decided to re-watch it last week. And it was good !
Our hero is a computer programmer named Saotome Kazuya. Being a bit “geek”, his biggest dream is to create a system that enable computer robot to act like normal human, can respond, has character, can think. He is still far from his dream, but he’s working on it, with the support from Kasumi, a girl next door who has a crush on him. Kasumi is also his landlady’s daughter. A computer virus from his friend brought Kazuya to a mysterious internet site, and made him bought something over the net. Within the next minute, a delivery came and the product he bought accidentally is delivered in a box. Guess what the product is? A mini maid robot named May, who can talk, who can respond, just like a normal girl. This anime reminds me of my very first reason to love anime. It’s fun, it’s fresh, it’s something within our imagination, yet we don’t have it in our everyday life. Recommended for age 15+ My rating : ★★★★☆ Seiyuu
